Kikoff Credit Account now reports to TransUnion

Our flagship product, the Kikoff Credit Account now reports to TransUnion. The Credit Account now reports to the 3 major credit bureaus – giving you even more credit building power.

Learn all about this change and what to expect:

Do I need to do anything to enroll in TransUnion reporting?

Nope, Kikoff has you covered! Starting in April, Kikoff automatically sends your Credit Account data to TransUnion – along with Equifax and Experian, just like we always have. All Kikoff customers will see this benefit, whether you’ve been a customer for 2 years or if you just signed up today.

How will this impact my credit score?

Having your Credit Account report to another bureau is usually a good thing for your credit. Many lenders pull reports from all 3 bureaus to see your score.

Keep in mind everyone’s credit impact will be different, and making sure you pay your Credit Account on-time every month will help you maximize impact.

I don’t see the Credit Account on TransUnion yet, what’s going on?

Like credit building, reporting to a new credit bureau takes time. Over the next few weeks, you may receive updates from credit services notifying you that a new account has been added to your TransUnion report.

If you still haven’t seen the Credit Account show up on your TransUnion report by the end of May 2024, feel free to contact our support team at (877)-249-6406.

When did this change happen?

Kikoff started reporting to TransUnion in April 2024. Your TransUnion report will show payment history starting February 2024. If you opened your account before February 2024, please note that you won’t see payment history but your account opening date and other information will be accurate.

I thought Kikoff already sent my data to TransUnion?

Before April 2024, the Kikoff Credit Account only reported to Equifax and Experian.

You may have seen Kikoff on your TransUnion report because our other credit-building products do report to TransUnion: Credit Building Loan & Secured Card both report to TransUnion.

Does Kikoff provide me with a TransUnion report?

Yes, Kikoff offers monthly TransUnion reports to all Premium and Ultimate customers. Note: Our basic plan customers only have access to a monthly Equifax report. You can upgrade to Premium or Ultimate at any time; log in to your app to learn more.

Do I need to do anything to enroll?

No, Kikoff has you covered. Going forward we’ll automatically report all Credit Accounts to TransUnion, whether you’ve had it for 2 years or if you just signed up today.
